Illusione Holy Lance

Illusione Holy Lance

Size: Lancero 7.5 x 40

Construction: Good construction with only one soft spot. Small veins with good color, and a light oily sheen.
Prelight: Sweet tobacco taste on the cold draw, very little aroma.

First 1/3rd: Great draw right from the start. Already some semi-sweet chocolate. Great clouds of creamy smoke. Slight tingle through the nose. After an inch, getting clean white pepper taste on the palette.

Second 1/3rd: Sweet Tobacco and coffee notes as the first third finishes off. Bold flavors round off the second third.

Last 1/3rd: Excellent burn throughout. Hints of vanilla and Carmel.

Finish: Still rich with tobacco taste with just a kick of nicotine at the finish.

Overall: The complexity of this cigar is amazing. The burn and consistency is an eye opening comparison to some of the Lanceros I've smoked. It smoked cool with no hot spots. Medium Body but Full Flavored.

Special Thanks to Nolan Perry for the great review of the Holy Lance by Illusione!
